BATRAL class small landing ships (name is a contraction of Bâtiment de Transport Léger) LOA 263′ / 80.2 m TDISP 1,330 tons (5 retired, some in service with Morocco, Chile (a locally-built variant) other some small navies, French service 1974-2017)
BDC or Trieux class LST LOA 335′ / 102.1 m TDISP 4,000 tons. French postwar version of the WW2 LST Mk 2 design. (5 retired, all scrapped, service 1959-ca.1985). At least one sunk as a dive site.
