“Honourable mention”

Fake US Aircraft carrier, constructed in the Islamic Republic of Iran. Dubbed by Warsearcher staff “USS Potemkin Maru,” LOA 670′ TDISP unknown…very little. She was built with tubing, and is surprisingly large. Launched early 2015 at Bandar Abbas, Iran, on the Strait of Hormuz. Extensively damaged mid-2015 by a range of conventional practice strikes in staged and recorded attacks. Towed back to Bandar Abbas and has not been repaired. Likely to be scrapped.FakeUScarrierBandar Abbas2015-02.jpgFakeUScarrierBandar Abbas2015-03.jpgFakeUScarrierBandar Abbas2019-06.jpg
