Kilo Class LOA 230′ / 70.1 m TDISP 3,000 tons submerged (3 built in Russia, active with Iran since 1992, 2 may be inoperative, in refit. 1 destroyed during 2026 Iran War, likely the upgraded unit: IRIS Taregh 901)
Fateh class LOA 150′ / 45.7 m TDISP 590 tons submerged. (3 building, service since 2019 ,only active unit destroyed 3 March 2026)
Ghadir or Yono-class small submarines LOA 95′ / 29 m TDISP 130 tons submerged. (During the 2026 war, at least 11 have reportedly been destroyed) The North Korean built Yono boats were copied and the design adapted, becoming the Iranian indigenous-built variant: the Ghadir class, of which there are about 20 in service.
